I am a huge huge fan of beat em up games.  Ever since I first played Final Fight years and years ago I have been hooked!  My days on the 32-bit machine was at a loss for my beat em up hunger pains.  With a lousy Fighting Force and tons of bad immitations I felt a certain emptiness inside of my gaming self.  I resorted to my lonely Saturn for a semi-decent version of Die Hard Arcade for my starvation.

Now with 128 bit graphics capable of re-creating a perfect coin op version of any game in come Dynamite Deka 2!  This game is basically the sequel to Die Hard Arcade.   The loss of the big name license doesnt make this game lose any shine though!   Not since Final Fight have I been so satisfied with a game like this.

Graphics are in a word astounding!  I mean the detail is definitely arcade but the Dreamcast makes it move so fluidly I have to make sure I dont have the actual arcade at my house!  The levels are absolutely stunning and the frame rate never drops one bit!

Sound is actually decent for being arcade like.  The sounds of the enemies is quite good considering.  The voice acting could have used some work but what game has good voice acting besides Metal Gear Solid?  The music fits the game quite nicely using a sort of Mission Impossible type of medley slightly speeded up to add the action esque feel of the game.

Control of your character is typical arcade.  One punch button and one kick, and of course a jump button.  You can pull off dozens of different combos and the moves just look down right painful!

Replay is where this game shines, with its two player mode you and a buddy could spend hours with this game and never get tired of it!  I think games like this are the cream of the crop when it comes to multi-player mayhem!

Overall this game is a must buy for beat em up fans.  The only gripe I have is that it is relatively short.  I know that isnt a big issue with arcade games, but they could have extended it a little.  Not to fear because I could go through this game a hundred times and not get bored because of the two player mode!
