F-Zero X

1-4 players

N64

Just like any successful company, Nintendo has to make rehashes of classic games to show off a new system. Whether it be the little plumber boy or even that dashing Link, Nintendo is a great company for remaking classics. F-Zero was one of the greatest 16-bit racing games that was ever made. And by the look and feel of F-Zero X maybe it should have stayed on the Super Nintendo. This remake just isnt as original as the first one and maybe Nintendo is losing its touch. F-Zero X is really fast, but the graphics are sub par and the gameplay isnt anything all too exciting. The multiplayer mode is plagued with early race endings because of only one crash and it just isnt as fun as say Rush or Wipeout. All in all this game could have been great but just falls short of the mark.
