Mario Party 1-4 players Nintendo 64 Well now on with yet another N64 review. The game itself is setup just like a board game. From the start you pick your character and your friends pick theirs. If you are anti-social and dont have any friends, then you are a loser!!! heehee just kidding, but anyway you are not left out either. You can substitute friends with computer controlled opponents, not as much fun to beat down but nonetheless a great party all-around! You start off by choosing a board to play on. Each board has its own set of obstacles and things to make each one unique. The game itself is exactly like a board game, each player hits a block to determine how many spaces to move and after four turns everyone is invited to play a fun-filled game of either 2 on 2, 3 on 1, or a 4-player free for all. As you progress across the board the main goal is to collect as many coins as possible and as many stars as you can get your little paws on. Each block is different, some are coins, some are 1-player games and some are just bad news. You will have to play it yourself to find out what that means. In the end Mario Party is a great game that deserves appraisal, but now I must strike the bad points! First off one thing that pisses me off about Nintendo is lack of support for peripherals! This being the expansion pack, this game would have been super-smooth if it had utilized this little 4-meg wonder. Another thing is the in game graphics are just plain and bland. The music is sub-par but surprisingly amusing. That is about all I can say about Mario Party, other than that, go rent it, play it, and form your own opinion, but don't make one till you play multi-player. That is where this game really shines and be sure to let Zero know how many people you got to actually win that game is freakin frustrating heehee. Graphics--6.5 Sound--7.0 Control--8.5 Replay--10
OVERALL--7.5This is a great game for parties...hence the name!!
