Nintendo 64 E3 Section

Welcome to ZT's N64 E3 wrap up.  Here I am going to relay some info on some hot upcoming titles for the N64 this year.  Not every game shown will be mentioned because some of them are already out!  Well on with the show....

Donkey Kong 64--Nintendo has always been known for rehashing old games and revamping them for the next generation.   Mario, Zelda, and F-Zero have all had their turn now it is time for Donkey Kong!   This game was probably one of the best the big "N" had to show us.   The environments were huge and the gameplay was top notch.  There are several different characters to go through the game as so the replay is just astounding.   This game may very well be the last great platformer on the N64 so definitely give it a look!

NBA Courtside 2000--Another sports game on the N64 ohhh the humanity!  Last year's Kobe Bryant was probably the best basketball game on the N64 but that isnt saying a whole lot!  This game suffers from the same problems as the previous one.  The graphics were sub-par and the control was lousy.  Oh well I guess the N64 just isnt a sports powerhouse! DOH!

Duke Nukem:Zero Hour--Come get some!  Finally a Duke Nukem on the N64 that does him justice.  This game was great, I couldnt remember the last time I had this much fun with a third person game.   The multi-player was smooth and the graphics only slightly blurry, this one is shaping up nicely if it would only come out!!!

Resident Evil 2--So the big "N" wants to take a stab at survival horror eh?  Well Capcom has finally decided to do an N64 RE game and to say the least it shoulda been left on the PS.  I was not impressed at all.  The so called FMV intro was choppy and grainy and the game has to actually load!!!  WTF?  I mean a cartridge that has to load wasn't this the N64's biggest pull for going with the cartridge format???  Oh well ya win some ya lose some!

Quake 2--I have been blessed by this gem.  This game rocks the multi-player even better than Goldeneye.  This game is probably the funnest N64 game to date!  The frame rate is smooth and the graphics unmatched!  I can hardly wait to see this one!

Perfect Dark--Can I hold onto my N64 long enough???  This game was incredible, probably one of the best of the show!   I hope I can stand to own my N64 long enough to get this game because it is going to be incredible to play this one multi-player!

That is about all I have for the N64 section.   Other honorable mentions are Gauntlet Legends, Jet Force Gemini, and MK Special Forces.  Well this is ZT sayin see-ya!
